Original photo Tin Roof on Lower Broadway. This piece showcases the bright neon sign of this live music venue and bar, marking the entrance to good times in downtown Nashville.
Photo is taken by Lisa Smith (me) and transferred onto half inch plywood using a gel medium. The ink is lifted from the photo and transferred directly onto the wood, leaving each piece with varied distressed patterns, allowing the wood grain and texture to show through. The photo is completed with high gloss polyurethane and the sides are painted according to the buyer’s choice to compliment the photo, adding depth and character. Self leveling hanging hardware installed on back for easy installation.
Approximate dimensions are 10.5″ x 16.5″.
For anyone familiar with the unforgettable atmosphere and livelihood of downtown Nashville, this piece is a fabulous reminder of why it’s called NashVegas! It may commemorate or inspire a visit!
The distressed appearance gives it a character synonymous with the artistic Music City itself. This is a great piece to hang by itself or display in a set with similar pieces.
