Historic Bell Buckle Downtown Show

October is the most beautiful time of the year in Tennessee. As the trees turn gold and red signaling the beginning of another fall, in tiny Bell Buckle a sense of expectancy fills the air as the townsfolk begin preparation for the sixty to eighty thousand visitors who travel from all over the US to take part in the Bell Buckle Arts & Crafts Festival held every third weekend in October. This event is almost four decades old and is one of the Southern Tourism Society’s, “top twenty events in the South”.

The Bell Buckle Arts & Crafts Festival began on the campus of the Webb School as an entertainment during alumni weekend. Within a few years the show had grown beyond the campus as Bell Buckle became a destination for fine arts and crafts. In 1993, the Bell Buckle Downtown Show was founded as a juried overflow for the Webb Show and soon grew into the premier craft show of the festival. Today, the Downtown Show is one of the anchors of the Bell Buckle Arts & Crafts Festival event offering over 125 booths for arts and craft vendors to display their wares, an award winning food court and live music venue.

Unfortunately, the show is completely full for 2015 and we are no longer accepting applications for vendors. If you are a vendor who would like to be considered for inclusion for the 2016 show, check back here after the first of the year for an application.
