Original photo of the Printer’s Ally, Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar. No longer in operation, but still loved and missed by many, this piece showcases the bright neon sign marking the entrance to this once popular bar on Printer’s Alley in Nashville.
Approximate dimensions 16″ x 10.5″.
Photo is taken by Lisa Smith (me) and transferred onto half inch plywood using a gel medium. The ink is lifted from the photo and transferred directly onto the wood, leaving each piece with varied distressed patterns, allowing the wood grain and texture to show through. The photo is completed with a glossy finish and the sides are painted a bright color (buyer’s choice) to compliment the photo and add depth. Self leveling hanging hardware installed on back for easy installation.
For anyone familiar with the unforgettable atmosphere and livelihood of downtown Nashville, this piece is a fabulous reminder of why it’s called NashVegas! It may even inspire a future visit! The distressed appearance gives it a character synonymous with the artistic Music City itself.
This is a great piece to hang by itself or buy in a set to display all together.
